  • Monday - Friday: £12.00 per hour
    Saturday: £13.20 per hour
    Sunday: £14.00 per hour

  • Monday - Friday: £15.00 per hour
    Saturday: £16.33 per hour
    Sunday: £17.01 per hour

  • Monday - Friday: £12.00 per hour
    Saturday: £13.20 per hour

  • Monday - Friday: £13.00 per hour

You’ll be guaranteed 38-hours per week with plenty of opportunities for overtime.

You’ll get 20 days’ holiday a year, rising to 25 days after two years’ service, as well as 8 bank holidays.

MAKING THE GRADE

At the Go North West elite training academy you’ll get 6 weeks* of driving, route planning, and safety training.

You’ll also learn everything you need to know about collecting fares and dealing with customers.

You’ll leave as a lean, mean bus-driving machine. But even lean, mean bus-driving machines need a helping hand sometimes. So, we’ll buddy you up with an existing bus driver, to show you the ropes and provide firsthand help and advice for as long as you need it.

* If you’re currently a bus driver, have previous experience, or possess a valid PCV licence, you’ll be eligible for our fast-track, three-week training programme.

Have you got what it takes?

Every good mission needs a checklist. So if these are all ticks, then you’ve got what it takes to be an elite bus driver:

  • Do you meet basic DVLA medical standards?

  • Have you had a driving licence for over six months?

  • Do you have no more than six penalty points? 

  • Are you over 21 years of age?

  • Do you have no drink-drive convictions in the past five years?

  • Are you able to take up legal employment in the UK?

  • Have you had UK residency for at least 3 years?

  • Do you dream of leaving the rut in the rearview mirror, grabbing your career by the gearstick and making tracks for Awesomeville?
